One Nation WA looks forward to outcome of CCC investigation
Posted on WA News by One Nation Western Australia · October 15, 2024 6:48 AMOne Nation WA is looking forward to publication of the Corruption and Crime Commission investigation with regards to the claims made by an ex-staff member of Roger Cook.
In 2022 it was reported that the staffer claimed under oath that the Labor party was giving preferential G2G pass treatment to donors during Covid, and that Labor was using taxpayer funds illegally for party political purposes.
At the time, the matter was referred to the CCC by the official opposition and the crossbench, and media reports suggested Labor electorate offices were being asked for documents by the CCC.
It has now been over two years since the matter was referred to the CCC, and it will be fascinating to understand why the investigation is taking so long, maybe there is so much to report that it is taking a while.
As a reminder, it was claimed that Labor Business Round Table donors were given prioritised permission to leave the state during the closed borders, at a time when family members were not allowed to visit dying relatives interstate.
The other allegation that was made related to the use of taxpayer funded electorate staff performing campaigning work which is prohibited by law, which interestingly was not raised as a point for the CCC to investigate by the Liberal and National parties, it was only the crossbenchers who called for both matters to be investigated.
One Nation WA hopes the investigation will be completed and published before the 2025 state election, the people of WA deserve to know if there really was wrongdoing as was suggested under oath by the former staffer.

COVID 19
Posted on Policies by Albert Gersh · February 10, 2022 12:14 PMWe Need the Truth
We believe there needs to be a more serious review of WA State Government policies during the COVID period, noting that the actions taken had a profound impact on our civil liberties and economy.
It is now clear that the vaccines did not work as advertised, were not completely safe, and that significant censorship and disinformation was practiced by the WA Labor Government.
We appreciate many people do not want to talk about what happened during Covid, however it is important that we are completely open and honest about one of the most disruptive periods in our state’s history, which had profound adverse impact on many Western Australians.
One Nation opposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates on Australian citizens.
One Nation will continue its push for a Royal Commission into the management of the COVID-19 pandemic by Australian governments.
While we acknowledge that people have died from COVID, there is a noteworthy difference between 'died of’, versus 'died with’. It is critical that an honest and thorough examination of how Federal, State, and Territory governments managed the pandemic is implemented by the parliament.
We need a Royal Commission not to lay blame or find scapegoats—because the buck will always stop with the Prime Minister and State and Territory leaders as it must in a representative democracy—but primarily to learn which pandemic measures worked and which didn’t, so that we are much better prepared for the next pandemic.
Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.
A Royal Commission of Inquiry will have the necessary power to compel the expert health advice Australian governments relied upon to justify and implement pandemic measures—much of this advice has been hidden from the Australian people. We need a Royal Commission because this inquiry must be completely transparent to the Australian public.
The Australian public deserves a transparent and thorough account of the decisions made by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is essential for addressing the concerns of those adversely affected by pandemic policies, including individuals with vaccine injuries and those who unjustly lost their jobs.
