One Nation stands with women and children to protect them from the impacts of harmful ideologies.

Changes by WA Labor to the Birth Deaths and Marriages Act now makes it easier for biological men to claim to be women. WA Labor has effectively legislated that biological sex is a social construct, and this is dangerous on many levels.

One Nation understands that allowing men to compete in female sports, and to access female only spaces such as bathrooms and changerooms, is not acceptable to most Western Australian women.

We will change all relevant laws to ensure biological sex is always recognised and prioritised over gender identity.

Children must also not be exposed to gender ideology concepts, as it results in social contagion of what is essentially a mental condition. One Nation will ban the use of puberty blockers in Western Australia due to the proven long term irreversible harm they cause to children.
