Everyday Australians know their living standards are being eroded, they experience it every day. Cost of living and inflation is out of control, and a trip to the supermarket causes many anxiety as they are not able to provide for their families as they once used to be able to do.

Prices for everything have gone up massively, with an average shop now seeming to cost double as much as it did only a couple of years ago. Consumers hunt for specials, but are gaslighted via shrinkflation and dubious pricing practices to think they are still getting a good deal.

But the reality is we are getting less these days and are paying more, and we all know this is true. That is why it is so offensive to be exposed to deceptive advertising which seeks to mask the true impact of inflation on families.
