Media has reported that WA Liberal Leader Libby Mettam has called for the State Government to oppose offshore wind farms, glossing over the fact that the process for investigating offshore wind farms was started by the Turnbull Liberal Government.

In 2015, the liberals decided to invest massive amounts of taxpayer funds to subsidise wind farms, as well as investigations into offshore wind. That investigation process is what has resulted in the proposal for the Geographe wind farm. So for the WA Liberals, especially their woke leader, to speak out against it is somewhat disingenuous. The Liberals ultimately will go with whichever way the wind is blowing.

This is a great example of why conservative voters are flocking to One Nation, people who can remember what happened 10 years ago know that the uniparty is not interested in what the people actually want. 

Offshore wind is something that makes little to no sense in Australia, but it does make sense to the people who are trying to sell it to us.

It is clear that the Geographe wind farm has very little public support, and there is only one party that you can trust to oppose offshore wind, and the economic vandalism that is caused by climate policy and that is Pauline Hanson's One Nation WA.
