Last year I caught up with the Willowbank Raceway team to discuss their upgrade plans.

Yesterday, we broke the news to race fans that the facility will receive $11 million from the federal government to upgrade the entire track.

This is the first time in the history of the facility that Willowbank have received government funding, yet they’ve played a significant role in the Ipswich community since 1985.
