Indigenous and Multicultural Affairs

 

In brief:

·        We have one shared culture that we all put first

·        Treat all citizens equally

·        Oppose the creation of a Multicultural Act in WA

 

We are concerned that an ever-increasing focus on diversity is actually dividing us as a nation and as a state.

At One Nation, we don't care what your background is, we care who you are today, and that is an Australian who agrees with our constitution and system of government.

We believe in a modern Australia where race is not considered an issue, and people are judged solely for the content of their character and their personal actions.

We are multi-ethnic, and multi-racial, and carry on with some traditions, but we must have one shared monoculture that we all put first.

We recognise the facts of history in relation to WA's indigenous people and their unique place in our community, and are committed to ensuring our fellow citizens are always fairly considered.
